A watercolour painting in which I used strong pigment to create depth. Watercolour dries lighter, unlike oils and acrylic. While deep, dark colours can be achieved in a single application in these other media, water colour needs to be built in layers as the paint is transluscent. I used both wet-on-wet, as well as wet-on-dry techniques to accomplish this.
